Terravista has been a standout for trainer Joe Pride over the last 18 months and remains clear $2.10 favourite for success in 2015 Premiere Stakes betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au.

Returning last spring for consecutive wins in each of the Group 3 Show County Quality (1200m) and Group 2 The Shorts (1100m), Terravista was unlucky to finish fifth in a fanning finish to the Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) but responded in the best way possible when charging home to take out the Group 1 Darley Classic (1200m).

Running third in each of the Group 1 Newmarket Handicap (1200m) and Group 1 TJ Smith Stakes (1200m) upon resuming in autumn, the Captain Rio gelding is yet to appear on course competitively this spring but be partnered by leading hoop Hugh Bowman in the 2015 Premiere Stakes.

Rebel Dane is yet to herald much interest in 2015 Premiere Stakes betting markets, but remains sole occupant of the second line of betting at generous $4.60 odds for success.

A Group 1 winner having taken out the 2013 edition of the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m), Rebel Dane was forced to undergo a wind operation following a hapless Autumn Carnival campaign but has returned to racing this time in slick form.

Jumping from the gates well in The Shorts, Rebel Dane was immediately settled on the pace; receiving a good run in transit before mustering a huge final straight sprint to beat Ball Of Muscle in a photo.

Allocated the rails draw, Brenton Avdulla has been retained to take the ride on Rebel Dane in the 2015 Premiere Stakes.

Interestingly figuring as the only other runner currently available at 2015 Premiere Stakes odds of less-than $10, Generalife will also contest the race first-up but is more than capable of success.

A strong and consistent performer for Godolphin through recent seasons, Generalife has posted an impressive nine wins and as many minors through 30 career starts so far.

Returning this year for success in the Group 3 Star Kingdom Stakes (1200m) on March 28th, Generalife ran on for a credible fifth in the Group 1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) before placing third in each of the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 (1350m) and Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1350m).
